Barcelona president Joan Laporta takes aim at ‘reckless’ Spain after Lamine Yamal and Gavi injuries

Joan Laporta has taken aim at the Spain national team after Lamine Yamal became the latest Barcelona player to suffer an injury on international duty.

Yamal returned early from the last camp after suffering a knock, with manager Luis de la Fuente claiming he did not try to stop him returning to his club.

However, Laporta has a different version of events entirely and did not seem too happy with the Spain boss.

“In the case of Lamine, he is a very skilful player, who suffers many injuries. It was reckless for him to stay for the next match and I didn’t like that they tried to convince him to play.
