FC Barcelona have had to resort to youngsters to cover for injuries in the first team, which has in turn, left the youth teams a bit bare.
To help cover the gap, Barcelona signed Pedro Soma, an 18-year-old midfielder from UE Cornellà.
Now, it’s been revealed that Barcelona have a buy option on the promising young player, who has already won five caps with the United States Under 18 national team. The option consists of paying €80,000 plus bonuses for 80% of the players’ rights.
Soma has had chances to play for Barcelona Atlètic, coming off the bench as a substitute for Pau Prim.
