Barcelona players have attended a wake for Dr. Carles Miñarro Garcia on Monday evening following the team doctor’s sudden passing at the weekend.
The first-team squad paid their respects along with coach Hansi Flick and president Joan Laporta, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The event took place at the funeral home and also saw Dr. Ricard Pruna, Carles Naval, Toni Alonso, Enric Masip and former chief Joan Gasport attend.
Dr Minarro’s funeral is due to take place on Tuesday morning at a time when Barcelona will be preparing to face Benfica in the Champions League last 16.
