Barcelona fans will be permitted to wave Estalada flags during the Copa del Rey final at Vicente Calderon on Sunday.

The club announced the judge's decision, noting Barcelona "celebrates that the judge’s decision will allow the free expression of legal symbols and banners by its members and supporters."

However, the club also added that it "expresses its concern about the reoccurrence of situations like the one on Wednesday, and which are an affront to the freedom of expression, and do nothing to benefit what has always been a celebration of football and sport."

Marca's Didac Piferrer (adapted by Enda Kenneally), previously reported fans would wave Scottish flags instead, noting the Estelada had been banned "by Madrid authorities that see it as too political.
