Barcelona pass Ronald Araujo fit for Rayo Vallecano clash after ankle problem

Ronald Araujo has been passed fit by Barcelona manager Hansi Flick ahead of Monday’s La Liga clash with Rayo Vallecano.

The defender had been a doubt for the game after sustaining a bruised ankle last time out against Sevilla that saw him forced off in the first half.

Araujo also missed a couple of training sessions but did the full session on Sunday and Flick then confirmed at his pre-match press conference that he would be in the squad.

It remains to be seen if Araujo will start the game at Montjuic, and Flick may want to be careful and go with Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez intead.
