Barcelona president Joan Laporta has offered an update on Gavi after the midfielder was taken to hospital with a head injury sustained in the win over Alaves.
Gavi had to be taken off in the first half after a nasty collision with Tomás Conechny that saw the game stopped for some time and both players taken to hospital.
Barca’s midfield star did try to keep on playing but was told by the club’s medical team and Hansi Flick that he had to come off.
Laporta says he’s spoken with Gavi and told fans not to worry as the youngster, and Conechny, are both feeling fine.
