Barcelona have offered a fresh injury update on Pablo Torre after the midfielder underwent surgery on a hand injury.
Torre picked up the problem during the start of pre-season training but will not be out of action for too long.
Here’s Barcelona’s statement:
“Pablo Torre has successfully undergone a procedure for the fractured fifth metacarpal in his left hand.
“Dr. Xavi Mir performed the procedure under the supervision of the Club’s medical staff. The player is expected to return to training beginning next week.”
Torres’s quick return to training means he should be involved in Barcelona’s pre-season tour of the United States later this month.
