After one of their quietest transfer windows in recent memory, Barcelona ended up making just two signings — Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor — and struggled once again to register all of their contracts within La Liga’s salary cap rules, but that still hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from creating more news about the Catalans bringing in new players.
The transfer window closed on Friday but La Liga clubs are still allowed to sign free agents at any time, as long as they have enough salary cap to register those players. Barça may create space if they finally come to an agreement with Nike on a new kit sponsorship deal, with negotiations going on for several months now.
