Barcelona still need to find around €50 million in order to register Dani Olmo and return to the 1:1 rule, according to RAC1.
The Catalans only registered Olmo until the end of the year when he signed in the summer and so have work to do to ensure he’s available for the second half of the season.
Barcelona have since signed a new lucrative kit deal with Nike but the contract is still not quite enough to get back where they need to be financially.
RAC1 report the Nike deal isn’t enough because the club hadn’t factored Barca Vision’s losses into their calculations and so are still short by €50m or so.
