Barcelona have reportedly met with first-team manager Hansi Flick’s agent about extending his contract at the Camp Nou.
According to Diario Sport, Barcelona directors had a sit-down with Pini Zahavi ahead of the game against Dortmund to talk about the German coach’s future.
Barcelona are keen for Flick to extend his stay past the end of his current contract, which expires in 2026, and want a deal done before the end of the season.
Flick is also eager to continue but does not want to commit to a long-term contract. The German coach is thinking about a deal for one more season - until 2027 - and possibly the option for another year on top.
