Barcelona have issued a statement expressing “surprise and indignation” at La Liga for “inappropriate behaviour” after the Spanish top flight published a statement regarding the club’s sale of VIP boxes.
The Catalans are not at all happy with the situation and say consent was not given for the financial information to be made public.
Here’s the statement:
“FC Barcelona has sent a request to LaLiga in which it shows “surprise and indignation” for the publication on April 2 of an information note entitled: ‘On the Corporate Operation Related to VIP Boxes Communicated to La Liga by FC Barcelona at the End of December.
