Barcelona’s official website says Ansu Fati is “undergoing a regenerative biological treatment by Dr. Ramon Cugat under the supervision of the club’s medical services,” as the young forward recovers from a long-term knee injury.
The club says Fati’s recovery is “following a very satisfactory course,” which is good news for a struggling Barcelona. He had played in 10 games (7 in the league and 3 in the UEFA Champions League) this season, for a total of 596 minutes, in which he scored five goals and registered two assists.
He was ruled out for four months in November after coming down with a tear to the internal meniscus of his left knee after playing against Real Betis.
