Barcelona have reportedly been handed good news with regards Ronald Araujo’s ankle injury after the defender underwent tests.
Araujo had to go off in the first half of Barcelona’s win over Sevilla and it had initially been feared he would miss a few weeks of action with a sprained ankle.
However, according to Jijantes, the injury is only a bruise and not as serious as first feared. Araujo is a doubt for Barca’s next game against Rayo but that may be the only match he misses.
The news will be a boost to Araujo as he’s already missed the first half of the season and will be eager to avoid any more time on the sidelines.
