Barcelona have been handed some good news on Robert Lewandowski’s fitness after the striker underwent scans on his return to the club from international duty.
Lewandowski was seen limping after Poland’s draw with Croatia, and manager Michal Probierz claimed he had a “slight injury”.
However, Barcelona tests have shown that Lewandowski has only a “severe bruise on his right tibia” and he should be fit for Sunday’s clash against Sevilla, according to AS.
The news will be a relief to Hansi Flick who is already expected to be without Lamine Yamal for the match, while Ferran Torres is also out with an injury.
