Barcelona sporting director Deco was conspicuous by his absence on Sunday as players, staff, coaches and president Joan Laporta boarded a plane to the United States for a pre-season tour.
Hansi Flick and his players are heading for games against Manchester City, Real Madrid and AC Milan, while Deco will stay at home in Barcelona to work on signings, according to reports.
Barcelona are still waiting for an answer from Nico Williams, with the rumor mill convinced the Athletic Club star will make a decision on his future in the coming days.
Deco is also thinking about a move for Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig as well as potential exits before the window closes.
