One of the many economic “levers” activated by Barcelona president Joan Laporta during their financial crisis was the sale of 10% of Barça Vision to German company Libero for €40 million last year, but that payment never arrived and Barça have been in litigation ever since while trying to find another avenue to secure the money.
Now it appears they’ve finally found a partner to foot the bill. That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who report the Blaugrana have signed a contract with one of their existing sponsors, Aramark, which will cover the missing €40 million and allow the Catalans to return to La Liga’s 1:1 rule and register all of their pending contracts and new signings.
