FC Barcelona has officially denounced the president of Malaga, Abdullah Al Thani, to Spain’s Anti-Violence Committee after the Qatari Sheikh tweeted that “Catalan scum will not smell the league trophy.”
This after Malaga coach Michel had dropped a strange hint about their last match of the season, against Real Madrid. He was reminded he could be in the same situation as Jorge Valdano, another ex Real Madrid player turned coach who twice denied Real Madrid La Liga with a victory for his Tenerife on the last matchday. To this, Michel said, cryptically: “the difference between me and Valdano is that I’m much more of a Madridista.
