Gerard Pique has offered an update on his calf injury and has confirmed he won’t play against Getafe on Sunday but should be fit after the international break.
The center-back had to be replaced in the first half of Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Athletic at San Mames after picking up the problem and was replaced by Ronald Araujo.
Pique spoke about his injury on an appearance on Ibai Llanos’s Twitch channel. He said, “The other day was a small scare. I will not be able to play this weekend, but I will be ready for after the break.
