Barcelona announced on Thursday that they have completed the signing of 16-year-old forward Louie Barry from West Bromwich Albion.
ESPN reported that the highly-rated youngster had a medical at Paris Saint-Germain but then had a change of heart and opted for Barcelona instead.
Their report also claims that the England youth international had also drawn interest from Manchester United, Juventus and Bayern Munich.
The teenager has now completed a move to the Camp Nou and will play for the club’s Juvenil A side after signing on for three seasons.
Barcelona note Barry “plays at centre-forward, although he can also play on the right wing” and also say he’s “considered one of the best young players in English football.
