Barcelona have confirmed that midfielder Pablo Torre is set to undergo surgery on a hand injury picked up in pre-season training.
Torre has been back at the club and working under new manager Hansi Flick following a season-long loan with Girona.
However, he’s picked up an injury during training this week which means he will have to go under the knife.
Here’s the club’s statement:
“Men’s first team player Pablo Torre fractured his fifth metacarpal bone in his left hand in an impact during today’s training session.
“He is set to have surgery in the coming days under Doctor Xavi Mir’s supervision.
