Barcelona confirmed on Monday that striker Martin Braithwaite will need to undergo knee surgery and is set to go under the knife “in the coming days.”
The Denmark international seems to have picked up the problem in the win over Getafe last time out and the injury has not responded to treatment.
Here’s Barca’s official statement:
“The first team player Martin Braithwaite has a femoropatellar injury in his left knee which has not responded to conservative treatment. The Danish striker will undergo surgery in the coming days. The Club will publish a new injury update when the process has taken place.
