Barcelona have offered a fresh update on midfielder Marc Casado's knee injury after the youngster underwent more tests.
It's now confirmed that Casado has only suffered a partial ligament tear and will not require surgery.
Barcelona say he will now undergo treatment and will miss the next two months.
"This morning, additional tests were performed on first-team player Marc Casadó, confirming a partial tear of the lateral collateral ligament in his right knee. He will undergo conservative treatment and is expected to be out for approximately two months," read a club statement.
It's good news that Casado does not need to go under the knife even though he will miss a big chunk of the season
The timeline also offers a glimmer of hope he could return before the very end of the season.
