Barcelona have confirmed that Guangzhou Evergrande have activated the buy-back clause in Paulinho’s loan deal ahead of schedule.
The Brazil international returned to the Chinese Super League side on a season-long loan in July, but the move had already been made official.

Barcelona have not confirmed how much Paulinho has been sold for and reports vary from €42m to €50m.
