Barcelona’s finances are in such a mess that the club reportedly can’t even register new signings Memphis Depay, Eric Garcia, Sergio Aguero, and Emerson yet. The same goes for Lionel Messi and his new two-year contract.
The latest update comes from Rubén Uría and Adrià Soldevila at Goal Espana who’ve had an in-depth look at Barca’s finances and found some “disturbing” results. The report even describes the club’s finances as “a horror movie.”
Barca now need to cut the wage bill by €200 million to comply with La Liga’s salary cap and be able to register the new signings.
