One of Barcelona’s big priorities in the transfer window is getting rid of unwanted players to create the necessary salary cap space to sign their top targets in the market, and one of those unwanted names in Clément Lenglet.
The French center-back is still on Barça’s books and a permanent transfer seems very unlikely this summer, so it looks as though Lenglet is headed for a third straight season out on loan. And after a couple of uninspiring seasons in the Premier League, there is a chance the defender could be headed to Turkey.
That’s according to Diario AS, who report that Besiktas have made an offer for a season-long loan in which they’ll pay half of Lenglet’s wages.
