It’s difficult to place Kevin-Prince Boateng in the category of a good signing. The Ghanaian has had a bit of a journeyman career, shuttling between clubs, never really impressing anywhere. His more recent spells at Las Palmas and Sassuolo have been acceptable but a major chunk of his skill-set is inconsistent.
The player may not be the signing we had all hoped for, but the idea that Barcelona is re-evaluating their transfer policy is good news. The club has invested in decent players this January, while avoiding long-term investments.
Jeison Murillo and Kevin-Prince Boateng are not world class but they are certainly on low wages with the potential to come in handy in case of injuries.
