Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino reckons Barcelona are favourites to win the Champions League this season, mainly because of Lionel Messi.
Pochettino has already faced Barca twice in the group stages, losing 4-2 at Wembley and drawing 1-1 at the Camp Nou, and thinks they are the team to beat.
“If there’s a favourite to win the Champions League, it’s Barcelona,” he said.
“They have players at a very high level, like Leo Messi, who is a genius and the best in the world.
“Barcelona have excellent, extraordinary footballers, but they also have someone in Messi who is a genius, someone even more different, extraordinary and unique.
