Barcelona followed up their 5-1 win over Ferencvaros in the Champions League by announcing contract extensions for four players including Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
The club confirmed that all the renewals “include a temporary salary adjustment due to the current circumstances brought about the Covid-19 induced crisis.”
Ter Stegen’s new deal has been in the works for a while but is finally signed, sealed and delivered. The Germany international has signed on until 2025 and has a new buyout clause set at €500 million.
Center-backs Clement Lenglet and Gerard Pique have also been renewed.
