Barcelona 2-2 Valencia, La Liga: Match Review

In a frustrating performance at home Barcelona dropped two points against Valencia to end their eight-game winning run. The visitors built a two goal lead in the first half through Kevin Gameiro and Daniel Parejo, but a Lionel Messi brace, with a goal in each half, earned Barcelona a well-deserved point.

Rotations continued for Ernesto Valverde’s Barcelona – one out of necessity as Sergio Busquets picked up a yellow card suspension. In defense both Nelson Semedo and Sergi Roberto started alongside Gerard Pique and Thomas Vermaelen. Carles Alena, Ivan Rakitiu0107 and Arturo Vidal formed a midfield trio while there weren’t any surprises in the front three.
