The U.S. national team defeated Honduras on Tuesday night with a pair of goals from Clint Dempsey, including header in the 25th minute off a rebound.
Talk about a bad start for Honduras in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Honduras goalkeeper Donis Escober did well to get down and deny U.S. striker Jozy Altidore's point-blank effort in the 25th minute — only to see the rebound of that fine save fall right to the head of Clint Dempsey, who nodded home to put the U.S. in front.

Dempsey would later put in another header to give the home side a two-goal advantage.
