Gerardo “Tata” Martino with the Mexico National Team is becoming more and more of a reality. Azteca Deportes is now reporting that Martino will be officially announced in early December as El Tri’s next manager. December 8 to be more specific.
The news coincides with earlier reports from ESPN Deportes and beIN Sports journalist Fernando Cevallos. It also comes from fame commentator and analyst David Medrano, who is amongst the most trusted sources in Mexican football.
One reason for the delayed announcement could be that Martino is currently serving as manager of Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United.
