Atlanta United’s “Tata” Martino to become next Mexico National Team coach — Report

According to ESPN Deportes journalist Hernan Pereyra, Gerardo “Tata” Martino is set to become the next manager of the Mexico National Team. The news comes after beIN Sports journalist Fernando Cevallos, also hinted that Tata could be on his way to El Tri.

Just a few days ago, the Mexican Federation confirmed that it was still evaluating potential candidates, conducting 15 in-person interviews and nine phone interviews.

One name that had gained less traction in the last few hours was that of interim coach Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti.
