Aston Villa crashed to a 3-2 defeat against Watford in the Premier League yesterday.
Goals from Emmanuel Bonaventure, Ismaila Sarr and Cucho Hernandez put the Hornets 3-0 after the 67th-minute mark. Villa did well to come back into the game through goals from John McGinn and Danny Ings.
However, their late effort wasn’t enough to earn them a point away from home and Dean Smith will be thoroughly disappointed with the performance of his players.
Aston Villa looked porous at the back and they were bereft of ideas going forward.
