Malayan Tigers's Asian Cup qualifying campaign off to a bad start after Lebanon produced an outstanding second half performance to claim all 3 points
Malaysia kicked off their 2019 Asian Cup qualifier with a 1-2 defeat against Lebanon on Tuesday night in a match played at Tan Sri Hj Hassan Yunos Stadium. Despite taking a first half lead, Malaysia were left kicking their heels as a drop in the second half saw the visitors earning their second win in the group stage.
As anticipated, Nelo Vingada's first ever Malaysia starting XI consisted of Mahali Jasuli in attack and Khairul Helmi in defence.
