Asamoah set to join Inter from Juventus

Kwadwo Asamoah is set to join Inter on a free transfer from Juventus, Goal understands.

The midfielder, who has won Serie A six times with the Old Lady, is set to undergo a medical with the Nerazzurri this week.

Inter have moved quickly to reinforce a squad that is set to finish fifth in 2017-18, already securing the signing of Stefan De Vrij from Lazio on another free transfer.

Asamoah will sign a three-year contract worth €3.5 million-per-season ($4.1m), having spent the past six years at Juve.

The 29-year-old has made over 150 appearances for Juve during his time at the club, also winning three Supercoppa Italiana trophies, four Coppa Italia prizes and reaching the Champions League final twice.
