Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger left the door open to possibly make a move for CSKA Moscow's Aleksandr Golovin by saying the playmaker is "a very interesting player."
Speaking after the Gunners' UEFA Europa League clash with CSKA on Thursday, Wenger was asked directly about ongoing links to Golovin, 21, and he did nothing to quash the rumours, per Josh James on Arsenal.com: "Golovin is a very interesting player and had an outstanding game tonight. We are not in transfer mode, I would say I could not see one bad player on CSKA Moscow tonight."
The Gunners were given a scare by CSKA at the VEB Arena.
