Arsene Wenger dismissed links to Hull City's Abel Hernandez ahead of Arsenal's Saturday FA Cup fourth-round clash with Burnley.
Recent reports had indicated that the Gunners may make a move for the Hull striker in what remains of the January transfer window, with the Uruguayan having been prolific in the Championship this season, per Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb (via the Telegraph).
However, Wenger denied any interest in Hernandez, but he did confirm that right-back Mathieu Debuchy may leave the club this month, per Jacob Murtagh in the Mirror.
The Frenchman also revealed that the Gunners are closing in on the signings of Nigerian duo Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze, per the Evening Standard's James Olley:
Wenger confirms #afc in advanced talks to sign Nwakali and Chukwueze and both deals should be completed this month.
