Jack Wilshere is reportedly edging closer to the exit door at Arsenal, with contract talks between him and the club continuing to stand still.
According to David Hynter of the Guardian, the Gunners have offered Wilshere fresh terms worth £80,000-a-week but they are unwilling to improve that amount to fall in line with what the midfielder wants to earn.
In the piece it's said Arsenal's offer is a "take-it-or-leave-it" one and the club are "sanguine" about the prospect of their academy graduate moving elsewhere for free at the end of the season. Everton, West Ham United and Juventus are said to be leading the race to land the England international.
