It has left the Serie A club in a bit of turmoil at the moment. They have hoped to keep hold of their prized assets, but now with no European football to offer, Lazio might have to sell two of their star players – Lucas Biglia and Felipe Anderson – both being linked with Premier League giants Manchester United.
According to reports in Italy, Manchester United are preparing a massive €45m bid for Anderson. The Lazio midfielder is technically gifted and has an uncanny knack of scoring goals regularly.
United are looking to bolster their attacking areas having lost Robin van Persie, Nani and Angel di Maria in the summer.
