Roy Hodgson is ‘arrogant’ and has treated England fans like ‘a piece of dirt’, according to former West Ham striker Dean Ashton.
The 68-year-old stepped down as manager less than 30 minutes after England crashed out of Euro 2016 with a 2-1 defeat to Iceland.
Hodgson addressed the media once again on Tuesday but was visibly irked throughout his press conference, claiming that he had ‘no idea’ why he required a second press conference.
