Arrests Made After Tottenham vs. Arsenal Crowd Trouble

The Metropolitan Police have arrested 10 supporters after trouble flared in the aftermath of Arsenal’s League Cup clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening.

According to Marc Higginson of BBC Sport, the fans were arrested at White Hart Lane for a “range of offences…including criminal damage.” The Football Association will now assist the police as the matter is now a “criminal issue.” Neither Arsenal nor Tottenham will be punished by the FA.

Arsenal supporters tore off advertising boards after the game.

After the final whistle, Arsenal supporters, celebrating a 2-1 win, were seen pulling advertising hoardings out of their brackets at the front of the upper tier.
