Having snapped up John Terry following his release by Chelsea, Steve Bruce's men will be targeting promotion back to the Premier League
Aston Villa continue their pre-season with a fixture against German second division side Arminia Bielefeld on Tuesday evening.
Steve Bruce's men were originally scheduled to take on Vitesse at a neutral stadium in Germany only for that game to be called off by the German FA.
They will instead play 2. Bundesliga outfit Arminia at Heidewaldstadion, a small ground which is the home of fifth-tier side FC Gutersloh.
