The Panama international will look to bolster TFC’s midfield for the team’s playoff push.
Toronto FC has signed midfielder Armando Cooper on loan from Panamanian side C.D. Arabe Unido, the team announced Thursday.
The Panama international will join Toronto upon the receipt of his Canadian work permit.
“Armando is a versatile midfielder who can play multiple positions and add depth to our roster,” Toronto GM Tim Bezbatchenko said on the team’s official website. “His range of experience with both club and country will be an asset as we continue our push for the playoffs.
