Andreas Christensen is set to be passed fit by Barcelona in time for Saturday’s La Liga clash against Getafe.
The Denmark international has not played since August due to an Achilles problem but has been back in training for a while now.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Christensen will get the medical green light before Barcelona’s trip to Getafe and is expected to be in the squad.
The news will be a boost to Barcelona and to Christensen after a really difficult spell on the sidelines.
Christensen’s return also gives Hansi Flick plenty more scope to rotate ahead of a busy set of fixtures at home and abroad.
