Andre Silva's future will not be at Sevilla, Goal understands, with the striker set to return to AC Milan after a breakdown in relationship with the Spanish club's hierarchy.
Silva hit the ground running after arriving in Spain, netting a hat-trick against Rayo Vallecano on his debut before going on to score a total of seven goals in as many games – including a fine double against Real Madrid.
Such was Silva's form that it seemed a no-brainer that Sevilla would exercise their option to buy the player for €38 million (£33m/$43m), with a man who had struggled to find the net in Milan appearing to have found the perfect club.
