Napoli can be new-look Serie A title challengers but may need time under their recently appointed head coach, says Giampiero Ventura
Former Italy head coach Giampiero Ventura believes that Serie A is now more important thanks to the arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlo Ancelotti.
While Ronaldo was Juventus's big-money arrival this summer, Napoli also have a new face of the team with Ancelotti taking over as manager following Maurizio Sarri's move to Chelsea.
Under Sarri, Napoli amassed a whopping 91 points, but finished four points off of Juventus and the title. And Ventura thinks that this season, the Old Lady is likely to maintain her grip on the league, particularly given the acquisition of Ronaldo - at least until Ancelotti finds his feet in Naples.
