Club América defeated New England Revolution on the road in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup. The Águilas had complete control of the game and the Revolution had no answer for their opponent. While it isn’t impossible, New England will face a big challenge as they attempt to come back from a four goal deficit when they travel to the Estadio Azteca for the second leg next Tuesday.
The game took a few minutes to get going as both teams studied each other and waited to see who would make the first move. The visitors were the ones who took the first shot as Richard Sanchez put too much power on the ball and skied it.
