Club América were able to win the game against FC Juárez in stoppage time thanks to a goal by Rodrigo Aguirre who had his dream debut. The Bravos had a dream start with a goal in the fourth minute but Henry Martin equalized the score in the first half and then Aguirre sealed the deal in the 92nd minute. Juárez will go into the Leagues Cup with a tough loss while the Aguilas go into the break on a win with the Leagues Cup trophy in sight.
After coming off a loss on Wednesday, the Aguilas were in need of a win and a very convincing one.
