Pending the receipt of his Canadian visa, the Cameroonian international defender will finally arrive in Montreal next week.
MONTREAL — Three months after his rights were dealt to the Montreal Impact in a trade from the New York Red Bulls, Ambroise Oyongo has finally decided to leave his native Cameroon and fulfill his contract obligations.
On Monday, a day after the 23-year-old defender announced on his Twitter account that he was on his way to Montreal, Impact technical direct Adam Braz confirmed that Oyongo, who's currently in Washington D.C. awaiting the approval of his Canadian visa, had indeed made up his mind to join the club.
