Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has hinted a deal has been agreed between the Spanish giants and Manchester United that will see Alvaro Morata move to Old Trafford this summer.
He told The Sun's Nick Rostron-Pike: "Alvaro Morata is not happy at Real Madrid. He hasn’t played and it’s the kind of deal and agreement which is great for all sides. The player, Manchester United and Real Madrid. All parties will be very happy with the deal."
Morata rejoined Real last summer from Juventus, but despite notching 20 goals upon his return last season, he was restricted to the role of back-up with manager Zinedine Zidane routinely preferring Karim Benzema.
